How Supreme Steam® Works
The FreshTech Supreme Steam® system utilizes packaging with microperforations built in to the substrate.
These thermal perforations are placed through a customized pattern designed specifically for your application. This allows safe cooking within a microwave environment.
This patented technology helps minimize leakage of internal food through the venting system and reduces moisture loss. This enhances flavor and improves customer safety through better containment of fats or oils.
Caution must be exercised when handling any microwave packaging after the cooking process has been completed to avoid being scalded or burned.

Supreme Steam® is Easy to Use
Without piercing, cutting or peeling the packaging, place the tray or pouch into the microwave.
During the steam cooking process the pouch or tray lid will rise and remain pressurized. This ensures excellent heat distribution throughout the cooking process.
The pouch or tray immediately deflates once removed from the microwave and when the product begins to cool.
With a vibrant appearance, a perfectly cooked and healthy serving or meal is ready to be enjoyed.

Cook it Safe Program
The Supreme Steam® packaging material and microperforation design helps to cook products to the right temperature in a relatively short time, as recommended by "Cook It Safe" program. This is a consumer awareness program for microwavable frozen foods promoted by the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) in partnership with the International Food Information Council (IFIC), Food and Drug Administration, Partnership for Food Safety Education, and organizations representing the frozen food and home appliances.
Due to the short cooking time and uniform heating within the bag, Supreme Steam® technology helps maintain the nutritional quality of IQF and pre-cooked products, including vitamin C, iron, beta carotene, vitamin E, vitamin B6 and thiamine.
